Built on Community, Driven by Purpose

Founded in 1992 by a dedicated group of professionals, the Sri Lankan Study Centre for the Advancement of Technology and Social Welfare (SCATS Australia Inc.) is one of the longest-standing Sri Lankan community organisations in Melbourne. SCATS has grown to become the most active and established Sri Lankan community organization in Melbourne. The organization has a strong emphasis on social welfare, culture/arts, education, technology sharing and seniors' welfare.

What began as a foundation for leadership and social welfare has evolved into a premier multicultural association. Today, SCATS serves as a vital bridge between Australia and Sri Lanka, delivering high-impact programs in education, technology, arts, and social welfare. Our work is recognised for its excellence, including the Victorian Multicultural Commission's Award for Excellence in Community Service.
